About Me
I often hear from my clients “I never thought about it that way” which suggests to me my role helps provide fresh perspective and challenges pre-wired messaging. I help individuals unpack the baggage they have been carrying around. Together we can sort through what’s been weighing you down, holding you back or causing you pain, we can begin to understand the contents, then decide what you want to do with it all. Maybe some stuff you want to keep, some stuff you throw out and perhaps there’s a “to be determined pile”. You are the expert on you so there is no right or wrong way to go about it. I see therapy as your space; I am here to help organize it.
I love what I do for so many reasons. My job is equal parts challenging and rewarding, for me I view this work as a calling, one I am honored to answer. I catch myself wondering if my life may have been easier if I had a clearer cut path to this calling. The truth is, my path to sitting with you has been a winding, rugged one, with plenty of peaks and valleys. I’ve held a variety of jobs over the years all assisting me in understanding the work I am well suited for has a common thread, the desire to connect with and help others.
Those who know me have said I am thoughtful, caring, real and down to earth. I seek to bring a calming presence to our sessions and welcome moments of humor. I want your time in therapy to work for you therefore I invite your feedback throughout our work together.
A love of the outdoors brought me to Colorado many years ago. When not in session I love spending time enjoying the outdoors with my family and friends.
